Newsletter

Root & Branch publishes a monthly (roughly!) newsletter with articles, perspectives, reflections and news from all of the members of the network.
You can subscribe to this newsletter using the form on this page.

  • From humility to the Guinness book of world records, and from not swearing oaths in court, to challenging Prince Harry to be a positive example, this newsletter has an incredibly wide breadth of musings on how to be Christian in our complicated world.

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed compiling it,
    the editor

  • Lent is passed, Easter has come, it's spring again! While there was no predetermined theme for this newsletter, each of the articles is infused with a spirit of practical action. A spirit well fitting for this season, a time of new life and growth!

  • If power is about the ability to make choices, than this edition of the Root and Branch e-newsletter is all about power. Whether it's the choices we make through government, in how we interact with our neighbours, or in our eating habits, we exercise a lot of power.

I hope this collection of reflections stirs your thoughts on power in your own life.

  • In exciting news for the Root and Branch e-bulletin, all our technical glitches have not only been solved, but we are back with a brighter and better format. I hope you all enjoy it (and don't forget to tell your friends to sign up again!) Sorry for any confusion that the change over has caused.

The weather is cooling off and it's time to pull out that warm jumper from the back of your closet. Here are some experiences of actions and endings to warm your blood and keep your hope flowing.

    In peace,
    the editor

  • Contrary to what the weather implies, summer is upon us! I hope that this time of year promises a respite from work's grind for you, and that you will enjoy this edition of the Root and Branch newletter, with the reflections, challenges and opportunities it presents to live as engaged Christians.
